About the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake
The Noto Peninsula Earthquake with a maximum seismic intensity of 7 occurred on January 1, 2024 and caused tremendous damage, including the collapse of homes, landslides, and the loss of lives.
We would like to express our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this earthquake and to everyone involved. We would also like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the disaster.
Toho No Hikari quickly set up a disaster response headquarters and is delivering relief supplies while confirming the safety of our members and other related parties, as well as confirming the status of the disaster.
Going forward, we will continue to work to support the recovery of the community, self-care for the mind and body at home and the community, and building bonds of mutual support, while taking into consideration the situation in the disaster-stricken areas and talking with officials from the government and other organizations.
