Information on Attending Services (Updated)
Due to the construction of renewing the worship facility (temporary Komyo Kaikan) in Gora, Hakone, there are currently some areas on the grounds that are restricted from entry and use.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
・Currently, it is not possible to worship at the Temporary Komyo Kaikan which faces the most holy sanctuary. Please use First Members’ Resting Place for daily morning prayers (from 8:40 a.m.) and for attending other services because it is equipped with a monitor that provides the live feed of the event.
・The area in front of the Administration Office (Homu-sha), where prayer forms and offerings (tamagushi) are accepted, is temporarily surrounded by an enclosure, so the traffic zone is narrowed. Please be careful. The Administration Office will remain open for use as before.
・Please use the south approach to the temporary Komyo Kaikan as the north approach on the right side is closed. Also, the trail path connecting the South Approach and the temporary Komyo Kaikan may be partially closed depending on the condition of the construction.
・Parking Lot 1 of the precinct parking lot has limited space available due to the construction office being set up. Please use Parking Lots 2, 3, etc.
・Regarding the Gomenkai Services, we will mainly use simultaneous video transmission for attending service for the time being. For details, please refer to the bulletin “Toho no Hikari” or contact the nearest center.
The office is located just across from the entrance to the temporary Komyo Kaikan (next to the First Members’ Resting Place). When you come to attend the services, please feel free to ask us any questions and problems including the question about the restricted areas.
